About Ridge & Company CPA Staff

Robin specializes in tax, accounting and auditing services and serves a variety of profit and non-profit entities. She also supplements her audit reports with suggestions for strengthening management procedures and improving organizational operating results. She makes a continued effort to make the boards of these organizations understand the financial statements and their importance as a "tool" to the functioning of the entity. 

Robin graduated Cum Laude from the University of Findlay in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She received her CPA designation in 1991. She has been employed at Ridge & Company CPA since 1989. She became a partner in 2001 and, after six years of partnership with James P. Thomas, became the sole owner in 2007. She previously had three years of experience with Ernst & Young in Cleveland, Ohio.

Robin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. 

Her commitment to the community is reflected in her involvement with a variety of local organizations, including Saint Michaels Church, Treasurer of Findlay Noon Rotary, the University of Findlay Accounting Advisory Board, and Handbags that Help, as well as Past Chair of the University of Findlay Estate and Planned Giving Council and the University of Findlay Colleagues Advisory Board, and she is a graduate of the Hancock Leadership program. 

Robin is the wife of Christopher, an elementary teacher at Powell Elementary in North Baltimore, and is also the mother to Morgan and Bailey. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and watching the Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers.

Marilee began preparing for a career in business by taking business courses in high school. While working in a local business office, the company’s public accountant noticed her interest and ability and offered her the opportunity to work in his office.

Marilee has continued with this career for over 39 years and has gained training in bookkeeping skills and taxation. She has always enjoyed public accounting work. Her duties include monthly financial statement write-up work, payroll taxes, income tax returns, and an occasional audit.  

Marilee also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. 

Heather specializes in a variety of tax and accounting services including individuals, partnerships, corporations, and non-profit agencies.

Heather graduated Cum Laude from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in 1995 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. In 1998, she received her Enrolled Agent designation and additionally passed the Series 7 Securities Exam. She has been employed by Ridge & Company CPA since January, 2011. She previously had eight years of experience at accounting firms in Georgia and North Carolina.

As an Enrolled Agent, she is qualified to represent clients before the IRS and completes 72 hours of continuing education every three years.

Heather moved to Findlay from North Carolina in 2009 with her husband Joseph, who works for Marathon Petroleum. They were married in December, 1994, and have two sons and a daughter. In her free time she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and watching her children on their trapshooting team.

A life-long Findlay native, Thomas joined Ridge & Company in January, 2018. Before that, he had spent the previous 17 years working in various accounting and revenue cycle management positons for three non-profit community behavioral health facilities in Northwest Ohio. Thomas is a graduate of Bluffton University and Owens Community College, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Associates degree in Accounting.

Outside of work, Thomas performs with the University of Findlay Concert Band and Findlay Civic Band.

Ronda is a 1991 graduate of The University of Findlay with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. She joined Ridge & Company CPA in January, 2011, as a part-time tax preparer. Her job responsibilities include individual tax preparation and any other accounting services where her skill can be utilized.

She is very involved in her community by being a 4-H advisor, varsity volleyball coach and substitute teacher during non-tax season.

Ronda is the wife of Bruce, and mother of three children, Courtney, Megan and Eric. In her free time she enjoys singing, reading, scrapbooking and watching her children’s extracurricular events.

Jenni is new to Ridge and Company, CPA in 2021. Her primary role is the Administrative Assistant. Outside of the office Jenni enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
