Robin specializes in tax, accounting and auditing services and serves a variety of profit and non-profit entities. She also supplements her audit reports with suggestions for strengthening management procedures and improving organizational operating results. She makes a continued effort to make the boards of these organizations understand the financial statements and their importance as a "tool" to the functioning of the entity.
Robin graduated Cum Laude from the University of Findlay in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She received her CPA designation in 1991. She has been employed at Ridge & Company CPA since 1989. She became a partner in 2001 and, after six years of partnership with James P. Thomas, became the sole owner in 2007. She previously had three years of experience with Ernst & Young in Cleveland, Ohio.
Robin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Her commitment to the community is reflected in her involvement with a variety of local organizations, including Saint Michaels Church, Treasurer of Findlay Noon Rotary, the University of Findlay Accounting Advisory Board, and Handbags that Help, as well as Past Chair of the University of Findlay Estate and Planned Giving Council and the University of Findlay Colleagues Advisory Board, and she is a graduate of the Hancock Leadership program.
Robin is the wife of Christopher, an elementary teacher at Powell Elementary in North Baltimore, and is also the mother to Morgan and Bailey. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and watching the Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers.
